Disability Pride Month: The Future is Disabled
About
Through disability justice leaders and community, we’ve learned to relate to disability—our own, the ones we love, our community’s, and those in the margins of the margins—not as something fixed, binding, or defined by limitation, but as a site of wisdom, interdependence, and collective care. When the systems around us are designed to attack disabled folks' lives and livelihoods, we must intentionally create futures that love, center, and live with disabled folks. Disability Justice reminds us that disability is not simply an individual condition but is shaped by the systems we live within, and that access, care, and survival are collective responsibilities.

Pride 2026 Jummahs
About
While Pride oftentimes highlights trans and queer histories, this increased attention is always fleeting. The causes we struggle for and the work we constantly fight for has existed before Pride and will exist after. We ask, what is the true purpose of Pride? What is visibility for the trans &/or gender expansive Muslim community? What is Pride when it is aligned with genocide? Most importantly, what does it mean to use the momentum of such a month strategically for the liberated world we want to build?
