Programming

MASGD employs a holistic approach to power building, acknowledging the skills necessary to transform our world, and the community care essential to sustain it. We create spaces where Global Majority QTMs, racialized Muslims, and organizers can experience belonging and healing in community, and develop essential organizing skills that can be leveraged to protect and positively impact our community.

While our in-person programming has been powerful and impactful, MASGD remains a primarily virtual organization. Our virtual programming provides culturally competent and trauma informed support and resources rooted in Disability Justice for Trans Queer Muslims and organizers. Because our community lives across Turtle Island and does not live in any particular city or region, our virtual approach is strategic and impactful because we are able to reach even more of us, including the majority of us who are incredibly isolated and do not have in-person TQM community.
